Four large air conditioned bedrooms. Three of these have King sized antique “four poster” beds. The third contains a Queen sized bed. Each bedroom has plenty of closet space with multiple windows and ocean views.

Your Quadrille staff will be the true joy of your Jamaican villa experience. They are wonderfully accommodating and will try to do anything you want. Just ask. Hyacinth will consistently delight you with wonderful Jamaican meals including special cakes for birthdays or anniversary events.  Cheryl helps keep the villa sparkling and your clothes clean and ironed. Dwight looks after the pool , gardens and villa.  Our staff have been with Quadrille for a minimum of four years:

PLEASE NOTE:  Babysitting services are NOT provided by the staff.  They can assist you in making arrangements with in the Silver Sands Community.

IMPORTANT STAFF INFORMATION:
Our staff works 7 days a week, 8 hours days.  Arrangements can be made for the staff to stagger their hours to accomodate earlier breakfasts or later dinners.  Please take a few minutes on your day of arrival to make arrangements with  Hyacinth to set up any changes in their schedule.  Please be respectful of the staff when requesting longer days.

Last Day Tipping:

It is customary to tip your staff at the conclusion of your stay. An appropriate gratuity is 10-15% of the villa rental. This would be divided among the staff members according to their seniority and service provided.
Typically the largest tip percentage would go to the cook, with the balance split among the other staff members. We suggest that you place tips in individual envelopes for each staff member and give it to them when the van arrives to pick you up at the end of your stay.

Here is a table showing suggested tip percentages for each staff member at Quadrille. These numbers are simply suggestions and you can vary them depending on your experience with each staff member.

Housekeeper - Cheryl: 35%

Cook - Hyacinth: 45%

Garden/Pool - Dwight: 20%

TIPPING NOTES:

To calculate the individual staff tip multiply the total amount of your tip by the percentage for each staff member and divide by 100.

Meals

Fresh local seafood is brought to your door and lobster during season is the “usual” catch of the day. Hyacinth can whip up a wonderful omelet or prepare a superb Jamaican specialty such as ackee and saltfish. It's your choice. You can ask the cook to "surprise" you with her Jamaican cooking skills or work with her to plan out your meals in advance.  You can personally arrange the details of your meals with your cook and she will gladly work around your special needs and desires. Quadrille staff will typically work 8-10 hour days and you can arrange to stagger some of the staff hours so that you can have dinner served later in the evening if you prefer. We suggest working out a dining schedule and menu for the week with your cook on the day of your arrival.

Villa use is ONLY for the registered guests. Guests staying at other local villas are always welcome, but are not permitted to stay the night nor should the staff be expected to provide meals wihout prior arrangement with Villa management.  IF you wish to have someone not staying in Silver Sands as a guest, this will have to be approved by the local management company in Jamaica.  Our staff would be more than happy to assist you with this.  Absolutely no unregistered guests are permitted to spend the night at the villa.   We do require a security deposit, any breakage or damage to property will result in a charge for replacement or repair, smoking of any kind is not permitted and can result in a damage charge.  The villa is a smoke free environment, however there are numerous patios and areas on the property that you can use OUTDOORS. 

The villa consists of two floors and multiple steps and landings both inside and out.  We gladly rent to families and ask that you take precautions when bringing young children and that you supervize them at all times as we nor the staff can not be held responsible for negligence. 

This is our home too and we ask that you please give it the same respect you would of your own home.
